Data Center Construction Material Inquiries

Buyers can submit an approved bill of materials for review of construction, sitework, fencing, steel, copper and conduit/support requirements. Availability and capability must be confirmed for each item before any quotation is provided.

Organize Your Bill of Materials by Trade Package

Group line items by trade or package and note the required delivery phase for each. This helps OBS review your approved bill of materials item by item. Availability and capability must be confirmed for every item before quotation.

Sitework & Early Works

Phase: site preparation. List general construction and sitework materials requested for the earliest delivery window, with quantities, units and destination.

Fencing & Perimeter

Phase: perimeter and security fencing. Include approved specifications, heights, run lengths, gates and any manufacturer restrictions.

Steel

Phase: structure and building shell. State steel items, grades, dimensions and drawing revision exactly as specified by your project team.

Copper

Phase: electrical rough-in. Specify copper form, alloy or grade, dimensions and quantities, plus any required documents or traceability.

Conduit & Supports

Phase: pathways and support installation. List conduit, fittings and support items with sizes, materials and approved manufacturer references.

Required Dates by Phase

For each package, note the required-on-site date and destination so every line can be reviewed against your schedule. Timing is confirmed per item.

Quotation Inputs

To support review of a data center bill of materials, include the following in your request. Availability and capability are confirmed per item.

Approved specifications — the specification sections and product requirements approved for the project.

Manufacturer restrictions — approved manufacturers and whether alternatives may be considered.

Drawing revision — the current drawing set and revision the bill of materials is based on.

Quantities and units — line-item quantities with clear units of measure.

Destination and required dates — delivery location and the dates required for each delivery phase.

Submittals and traceability — required submittal documents and any traceability records the project requires.
