Copper Material Inquiries
Submit buyer-led requests for copper wire, busbar stock, sheet, coil, tube and bar for review. These inquiries cover raw copper material only, which is distinct from fabricated or certified electrical components. Availability and actual supplier/product capability must be confirmed for each item, and specifications and any alternatives must be approved by the customer before an order.
Specification Requirements
Include the following details in the material requirements of your request. OBS reviews what you specify; it does not recommend technical suitability. You approve all specifications and any proposed alternatives before an order is placed.
Alloy / Grade
State the specified alloy designation or grade exactly as approved in your specification or bill of materials.
Form & Dimensions
Identify the form (wire, busbar stock, sheet, coil, tube or bar) and required dimensions. Note whether you need raw material or fabricated/certified electrical components.
Temper, Finish & Quantities
Include temper and finish if specified, plus quantities with clear units of measure for each line item.
Documents, Destination & Timing
List required documents, delivery destination and required dates. Availability, documentation and timing are confirmed per item and are not guaranteed in advance.
